The Sisters of The Holy Rock – Dinner & Show Fund Raiser on September 15 was a huge success.

We recently signed a 1-year agreement with Dan Vermette of ReMax Realty to market Rendez-Vous Estates.
Dan will provide his professional services in real estate marketing, MLS exposure and redirect interested seniors to our sales team to select their suite.
Dan can also provide our signed up residents with one on one guidance and information on selling their homes.

CMHC National Housing Strategy Program

Our application for the CMHC Co-Investment Fund program this past spring, for
capital funding and low-cost financing was declined. There were several factors for
their decision.

We are currently reviewing CMHC’s new program called the Rental Construction
Financing. The Rental Construction Financing provides low-cost loans to
encourage the construction of rental housing.


Occupancy Fee Reduction Plan (Optional)

Purpose: To provide members with an opportunity to lower their monthly occupancy fee. Many residents who are selling their homes, have to decide where to invest their surplus sale proceeds. Rendez-Vous Estates Occupancy Fee Reduction Plan provides an attractive option. Funds will be required no later than the resident’s move in date.

  • Residents interested in reducing their monthly occupancy fee, can request the optional Occupancy Fee Reduction Plan. The amount will be based on the invested amount @ the current Rendez-Vous Estates Mortgage interest rate. The calculated amount will be applied as a reduction to the monthly occupancy fee.


  • Reduced monthly occupancy fee
  • Return on investment much higher than offered by your financial institution
  • 100% refundable when you vacate the premises

Resident deposits $100,000, Calculation: $100,000 @ 4.5% = $4,500 / year
The resident’s monthly occupancy fee is reduced by $375 (See fee table)

 Membership Share Purchase

At the Co-op’s request, Caisse Financial Group in Lorette, developed specifically for our residents, a financial package to facilitate the purchase of a Membership Share: A Take Out Equity Mortgage for residents who wish to use the equity of their home for the purchase of their Co-op Membership Share, along with other benefits. No payment required to a maximum of 20 months; only a lump sum payment upon receipt of sale proceeds from the sale of your house.
